John Dramani Mahama, flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed the need not to go to court after the 2024 elections since he is going to win.

The former President who contested the results of the 2020 elections in court says there would be no need to repeat that since the National Democratic Congress is going to be vigilant to ensure they win polls.

At Dzodze in the Volta region during his “Building Ghana Tour”, he urged the residents to be extra vigilant during the December polls to ensure the NDC clings power.

“I’m not going to the Supreme Court because I know I’m not going to lose, maybe that person will be going to the Supreme Court. The election is going to be decided at the polling station and the coalition centre and that’s where the NDC is going to be,” he told the gathering.

Mahama also asserted that he would avoid the Supreme Court because he knows he wouldn’t get justice if he does.

“We won’t go to the Supreme Court again because we know we won’t get justice. We are going to police this election and it is going to be the best policed election in the history of Ghana and we are going to follow the results every step of the way until the final result is declared,” he was confident.
