Assembly member for Buduburam Fetteh Kakraba Electoral Area, Lott Arthur says within one month, five people have been killed in his electoral area.

He laments the lack of vehicles by the police to embark on their patrol causing the murder cases to rise.

Mr. Arthur has called on the IGP to come to their aid to provide better secuirty for residents of the area.

“They killed someone in the morning at the Fetteh Kakraba junction. Three days ago a 6-year-old child was killed behind Sapato. About one month ago, someone was killed on the Lamougine road behind the Buduburam cemetery. In fact killings have been rampant at Buduburam and its environs which we always complain about.

“We’ll plead with the IGP and his leadership to come and tighten the security here. The police have been telling us they don’t have vehicles to go on patrol when we report cases so things have really become difficult for us the Assemblymen and Unit Committee members.

“The DCE should all get involved. The area is now developing and the killings have been rampant so we’ll plead with the authorities to enhance secuirty here,” he told Onua News’s Nana Yaw Asare.
