The former champions had gone two matches without a win, not scoring in both encounters.

After a frustrating first half, the Phobians emerged from the break more motivated as Emmanuel Amankwah scored after just three minutes.
With less than 10 minutes to go, Young Apostles equalized in what was going to be the third successive draw for the visitors.
However, Issah emerged the saviour to clinch the winner for Hearts of Oak, securing them all their second win three points.
Hearts will be on the road again against struggling Dreams FC in their next encounter.
They now sit eighth on the log with eight points.
