Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have reportedly earmarked French manager Romain Folz as one of the replacements for Martin Koopman.

The Phobians last month parted ways with Dutch manager Martinus Koopman, tasking Assistant Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru to handle the club until a permanent appointment is made.

The club is in the market shopping for a substantive coach.

About 10 former coaches including Frank Nuttal, CK Akonnor and Samuel Boadu are said to be interested in returning to the Oak family.

Onua Sports gathers that the board, which recently clashed with Koopman over operational issues, are interested in Folz.

The Technical Director of AmaZulu previously handled Bechem United and AshantiGold SC in the Ghana Premier League.

He coached in Botswana before making the trek to South Africa, first to handle Marumo Gallants FC before the AmaZulu deal.
