Hearts of Oak jumped to second in the Ghana Premier League following a 3-0 win over bottom-placed Eleven Wonders on Saturday.
The Matchday 20 encounter took place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the same venue for Hearts of Oak’s home games.
Mawuli Wayo opened the scoring in the 8th minute and that ended the first half with the Phobians on top.
Martin Karikari doubled the lead later in the second half before defender Kelvin Osei Asibey made it 3-0 late on after converting from the spot.
The win takes Hearts of Oak above Bibiani Goldstars and Asante Kotoko but just behind leaders Medeama SC, who are on 40 points.
Hearts are currently on 35 points ahead of their home game against Bechem United on Matchday 21 on Sunday, February 1.
Bottom-placed XI Wonders will travel away in their next game against Young Apostles.
