Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and Hearts of Oak recorded their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League following a lone-goal triumph over Dreams FC on Monday.
Midfielder Mohammed Hussein struck in the 14th minute at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park in Tema to give the Phobians all three points.
It was a cagey encounter in the late Matchday 2 kickoff as both clubs were chasing their first win of the campaign.
The Still Believe Boys had lost on the road to Heart of Lions by a lone goal on the opening day of the League while Hearts seem to have been embarrassed by debutants Hohoe United in the opening game of the season. They were held to a goalless draw by 10 players.
So, Monday’s game had high stakes.
But Hussein’s first-half strike after he latched on to a pass from Martin Karikari from just 20 yards out was the difference.

With two defeats consigning them to bottom of the log, Winfred Dormon’s Dreams FC will leave nothing to chance as they travel to Wenchi to play Young Apostles on Matchday 3.
