Blessed Godsbrain Smart, host of Maakye on Onua TV/FM has said he doesn’t take delight in insulting people in authority.
He says what people may even regard as disrespect because of what they deem insulting is a rebuke to him.
According to him, Ghanaian leaders are “murderers, nation wreckers, terrorists and heartless”, the reason sometimes his rebuke of their deeds appear harsh to the public.
He noted for instance a Minister of State in a West African country has ‘stolen’ to the tune of $160 million and kept in his house where the workers in his house set the place abalze when the minister had travelled out of the country and stole part of the money. He adds the fire and security officials he called to tackle the issue for him also shared $4 million of the booty and asked the minister to keep quiet else they reveal the secret.
“…So when I talk about issues within Africa in this manner, you can choose to pardon me or not,” Captain Smart noted.
