Former Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC coach Abdul-Karim Zito Kabutey has been appointed to the technical team of Division One side FC AshantiGold 04.
The club announced this appointment on Tuesday, February 24 on its official Facebook page.
“He has joined the technical team,” the Zone 2 leaders revealed.
They highlighted Zito’s “experience”, “discipline” and “winning mindset”.
“This adds strength to our bench and belief to our squad.”
This appointment comes barely a fortnight after Zito resigned as Head Coach of Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko.
He moved to that club after a sterling spell with fellow GPL side Dreams FC.
Zito is expected to assist FC AshantiGold 04 qualify to the top-flight league from Zone 2.
They are currently three points clear at the top with Ebusua Dwarfs on their heels.
