Zach Gh, a former Manager of actor, Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lil Wyn, has disclosed that the Kumawood star suffered emotional trauma when he lost his ambassadorial deal some years back.
“Lil Wyn was broken, it was not easy for him, he was emotionally traumatised, and he cried throughout the night.
Due to the situation at hand, we bare him from driving.”
He told DJ Premier on Onua FM’s ‘Anigye Mmere’ whilst contributing to the topic: “How does management of artiste deals with scandals in terms of PR”.
What seems to be a good night for the actor, at the 2014 Ghana meets Naija stage at the Accra International Conference center turned around when, Kwadwo Nkansah, disclosed he’s got some medicine for the fans which is marijuana.
The DJ of the night upon hearing marijuana muted his microphone. So Lil Wyn walked off stage. He later revealed that his act was to campaign against drug abuse but he wasn’t allowed to finish.
The actor lost his ambassadorial deals with communication giant MTN due to the above mentioned act.
Narrating what happened back then, Zack Gh, indicated that Kwadwo Nkansah was treated badly at the event.
“His act was cut off, They didn’t give give him a listening ear to the end, DJ Black muted his microphone. In fact, backstage Kwadwo started crying, asking what he’s done wrong.
“We the management together with some big men had to step in and encourage him. Because earlier the communication giant he was working with, had already issued a statement saying the deal was off. It was way bad for him but we sail through.” Zack Gh concluded.
Zack Gh is out with a new song dubbed “Ahye wo”.
