After facing initial setbacks in several key districts, the limited voter registration exercise in Ghana appears to be gaining momentum on the second day.

Despite the challenges encountered on the first day, the registration process is now proceeding smoothly across some district offices which had challenges yesterday.

The Electoral Commission, which had been under scrutiny for the registration delays, seems to have addressed the issues that plagued the initial rollout.

This positive development comes as a relief to both the Commission and prospective voters, as the successful completion of the exercise is crucial for enrolling approximately 623,000 first-time voters nationwide.

With the registration process now back on track, stakeholders are hopeful for a seamless and efficient electoral process leading up to the upcoming elections.
