Nkroful, the birthplace of Ghana’s first Prime Minister and President, is the venue of Onua Maakye’s People’s Assembly.today, Thursday, September 21, 2023.
This is in commemoration of the birthday of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Born September 21, 1909, the man who attained independence for Ghana would have been 114 years today.
Embarking on the ‘Journey to Nkroful’, the team has moved to the town in the Western region to engage residents, opinion leaders and government officials to help discuss issues they are facing.
On the Thursday edition, the news team delivered the Nkroful News, followed by an analysis of the the things in the Mausoleum at Nkroful which has the birthplace of the Pan Africanist.
Meanwhile, a torch light procession was organised for Dr. Nkrumah this dawn at Nkroful, his hometown.
A birthday cake was cut for him afterwards.
