28-year-old Great Karim nearly met his untimely death at Mankessim in the Mfantseman municipality of the Central region.
He was being lynched for allegedly stealing a cock.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect is fond of stealing cocks at Mankessim and its evirons.
Great Karim was tied to a pole after being arrested Monday dawn during his usual cock stealing spree.

He is currently being held at the Mankessim Police station.
Some eyewitnesses in an interview with Onua News’ Nana Yaw Asare pleaded with the police to arraign the suspect before court to ensure he is put behind bars.
They claim he has been robbing them for some time now and his arrest has come as a relief to them.
