Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have been handed TP Mazembe as their opponents in their return to the CAF Champions League.
The Ghanaian champions were drawn against the Congolese side on Thursday, August 6.
The Yellow and Mauves will host the first leg at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Sunday, October 18 before travelling to DR Congo for the second leg a week later.
The draw presents a tough test for the Ghanaians, who reached the group stage in their last outing in 2023.
They are facing an opponent that has won the flagship continental club football competition five times.
The winner will face Tunisian side Club Africain or Mali’s Djoliba AC in the final qualifying round.
