Former Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC suffered their first defeat at the newly-refurbished Tarkwa and Abosso (T n A) Stadium on Sunday, August 18.
It was in the GHALCA Competition against Bechem United.
The defeat comes just a couple of days after the inauguration of the state-of-the-art facility in Tarkwa.
The 10,400-capacity stadium was handed over to the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Tarkwa Municipal Assembly by Goldfields Foundation on Friday, August 16.
In the inaugural match, Medeama SC beat Asante Kotoko 2-1, much to the delight of fans.

Unfortunately, the second outing for the Mauve and Yellows, who will use the grounds for their home matches, was not what they expected.
Their next game will be on Wednesday against Nations FC, who beat Sekondi XI Wise in their first match.
