Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have talked highly of the treatment the team has received in Egypt so far ahead of the CAF Champions League game with Al Ahly.

Medeama SC left Ghana on Wednesday, November 22 ahead of the clash on Saturday, November 25.

They have since touched down in Cairo and have praised their hosts for the treatment given them so far.

Speaking with Onua Sports on Maakye

on Onua TV on Thursday, November 23 from Cairo, Communications Director of Medeama SC Patrick Akoto said the Egyptians have received them well in terms of accommodation and transportation.

“In terms of travel arrangements, it is quite in contrast to the African electronics and machinations previously received especially in Guinea by Horoya AC,” he said.

He earlier stressed: “We are very comfortable. There are no issues at all.”

The Group D match was scheduled to be played at the Cairo International Airport but had to be moved to the Al Salam Stadium, also in Cairo, over renovation works.

But Patrick Akoto said enough buses and cars were provided the team by the Egyptians for a smooth two-hour journey to their hotel, which he described as top-notch.

“The bottom line is that there are no complaints.”

The match will kick off at 1900GMT on Saturday.
