The one-year contract of Medeama SC’s Head Coach, Nebojsa Kapor, has expired.

The 38-year-old took charge of the Mauve and Yellows in December, 2023 during the club’s CAF Champions League campaign.

On Tuesday, December 17, management announced that the two have parted ways following the expiration of the one-year contract.

Both parties are reported to have failed to reach an agreement over contract renewal.

While at the helm, Coach Kapor saw Medeama SC finish 8th in the Ghana Premier League.

They currently lie 5th on 21 points after 13 games, losing 3-2 away to Vision FC over the last weekend.

“The club extends its gratitude to Coach Kapor for his contributions and wishes him success in his future endeavors.”

Technical Director Augustine Evans Adotey, who was replaced by Kapor, will take charge of the team pending the appointment of a substantive coach.
