The newly elected Savannah regional executives of the New Patriotic Party have vowed to work diligently by uniting the party for the party’s victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to journalists after they were sworn into office, Savannah Regional Chairman, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana assured that the new crop of leaders will focus on rebuilding the party towards election 2028.

“This election is a win for all of us. We only needed leaders to man the affairs of the party, and we must all come together to work for the party.”

“All the candidates before today gave assurances of working for the party and we must remain committed to that promise.”

 

Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana was re-elected by delegates after polling 92 votes to beat a two-term former Managing Director of Ghana Water Company Limited, Ing. Clifford Braimah who secured 88 votes.

For the Regional Secretary position, first time contender Seidu Ayuba, secured 91 votes to beat incumbent Mohammed Issah who secured 89 votes

Adam Mohammed Mansuru polled 97 votes to win as Youth Organizer with his opponent Yakubu Yussif securing 83 votes.
