A 45-year-old woman has survived breath after spending three days inside a public toilet.
The incident which happened at Enyan Asempene in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district of the Central Region has sent shivers down the spine of residents who went bemused after the woman was retrieved alive.
Nana Adom Odiasempa reports on Maakye News Wednesday, August 31 said the woman had told relatives she was going to Mankessim to purchase some things.
But after two days, she had not returned until people heard some unusual sounds at the toilet. They informed the public who went on a search with flashlights.
Odiasempa continued that, they residents had to call on the Ghana National Fire Service to come and retrieve her after breaking three spaces between the concrete holes.
The woman has since been sent to the hospital but has not spoken yet. She only gives gestures at the moment.
The community is still shocked as to how the woman was able to pass through the hole with a small open.
