Many are feared dead in a crash involving a cargo truck and and two buses including an STC at Kyekyewere on the Accra – Kumasi highway.
Even though the number of persons dead are not known, it is feared many would die as the two buses including the STC were carrying so many people.
Images from the accident scene showed several people lying dead beside the bus along the edge of the road.
Many were also injured.
Bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Nsawam and Suhum Government Hospitals, whilst the injured are receiving treatment..
The cause of the accident has not been established yet.
