Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Burniton Music Group Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has disclosed that Stonebwoy was paid a whopping amount of money for his just ended AFCON Fan Zone performance in Morocco.

Speaking on Onua Showbiz last Saturday, she responded to claims of Stonebwoy being paid a meager amount of money for the performance, stating that even though she could not disclose the exact figure he was paid due to non-disclosure agreements, he received what she describes as a “destiny-changing” amount.

“I can’t mention the exact figure due to some non-disclosure agreements but the amount is really huge. It is a destiny-changing amount. The money has the potential of changing one’s destiny,” she said.

She added that the Confederation of African Football’s decision to book Stonebwoy was born out of its admiration for his craft.

“CAF really admires our craft, and they approached Stonebwoy for his services because they believed his brand and music could promote the AFCON competition well. The feedback so far has been very positive, and they look forward to a broader relationship with him beyond AFCON 2025,” she added.

Stonebwoy performed at the “AFCON Last Dance” in Rabat, Morocco on Friday, January 16, alongside African Giant Burna Boy and Moroccan musicians Stormy and Jaylann.
