He says after coming out to say the three appointees are involved in galamsey, his life has been under threat. The chief says they want to kill him.

Meanwhile, the Tarkwa Nsuaem MCE, Benjamin Kesse has denied the allegations of being involved in galamsey.

The chief also noted the forests Mr. Duker has destroyed in the Western Region are four times bigger than what Wontumi’s Akonta Mining Ltd. has destroyed.

“Duker is going to Samreboi and other places fighting galamsey yet you’re not talking about yours. Duker has destroyed forests about more than four times of what Akonta mines is doing.

“They claim I’m an NDC who wasn’t helped by Duker and that’s why I’m doing this. But Duker is not a kingmaker.
It’s because of a little truth I said, they want to kill me. When I told the MCE my life lies with them, he said he can’t kill me but I just want to disgrace him.
