Two persons have died in a fatal accident at Wassa Japa in the Amenfi East municipality of the Western region.
Other passengers on board the vehicle also sustained serious injuries and have since been hospitalised.
The accident is said to have occurred following a head-on collision between two Sprinter buses with registration numbers AC 1474 -22 and WR 775 -19 near the Wasa Japa police checkpoint.
Bodies of the deceaseds have been deposited at the the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital morgue whilst the injured passengers are receiving treatment at same facility.
