Captain Smart is wondering the economic condition President Akufo-Addo would have subjected Ghanaians into if he had sipped alcohol (akpɛtɛshi) during his campaign instead of kalypo.
He says kalypo being a soft drink should have made the president make things soft for the citizenry but has rather hardened things, making him wonder how he would have turned the state into should he have taken a hard drink like alcohol.
During the 2016 electioneering campaign, then candidate Akufo-Addo was spotted sipping a soft juice in paper pack which then incumbent NDC tried to make a mockery of.
However, Ghanaians made a craze out of it where many took pictures of themselves taking the fruit juice and uploaded on social media.
Candidate Akufo-Addo made a political capital out of it helping him to become president.
This, is what Captain Smart is questioning what would have become of the state if the president had taken in something else.
