John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to vote against the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 07 elections.
John Mahama says that would be the verdict of Ghanaians to the NPP for the incompetence the government has exhibited to the citizenry for the eight years the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia took over.
According to him, government has been reckless in the use of state resources asking them to reject the NPP at the polls.
As part of his campaign tour to the Upper West region, John Mahama, speaking at rallies in Nadowli and Wichaw told the gathering that the NPP government has plunged the nation into an unprecedented hardship and deserves to be punished.
He voting for the NPP is an endorsement of incompetence and impunity and will worsen the economic challenges already being faced in the country.
Mahama urged the electorates to vote for the NDC in December.
“Any person who votes for NPP in this election is voting for impunity. Encouraging them to do what they have done to the citizens, and the pain they have inflicted on the citizens. What you are saying is you don’t find anything wrong with it.
“You vote for NPP because you don’t see anything wrong with how they have mismanaged this economy. You know, the best message that Ghanaians can send not only to the NPP, but to the rest of the world is that they have done enough damage, and it is time for them to go into opposition and go and reflect on the damage that they have done to this country,” he said.
