U.S. President Donald John Trump has warned Iran against retaliatory strikes, expressing the United State’s readiness to confront them with a stronger force if they continue with their strikes.
President Trump, in a post on Truth Social on Sunday, March 1, 2026, noted that if Iran continues with its strikes as announced, they would have the U.S. to contend with.
“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before,” Trump wrote.
Trump added that “they better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before!”
Following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Khamenei, in a US-Israel joint strike in Iran, the Islamic State launched a fresh wave of strikes across the region and threatened what it described as the “heaviest offensive” retaliation in the country’s history.
Meanwhile, Trump had since indicated on Saturday, February 28, that the strikes against Iran could continue for days until the U.S. had served the Iranians what they deserved by rescuing them from wicked leadership.
