The Bibiani Catholic ‘A’ basic school in the Bibiani Anweaso Bekwai municipality of the Western North region has been attacked by unidentified thieves.

The suspects broke into the school’s office and made away with 17 laptops and other teaching and learning materials.

The thieves have not been apprehended yet.

Headteacher of the school, Daniel Asare Oppong has been telling Emmanuel Sowah the incident has happened before some years ago.

On the thieves first visit, they disconnected their electrical cables and made away with them, repeating the act this time around by stealing 17 laptops.

Meanwhile, the public relations officer of the Bibiani Anweaso Bekwai Education Directorate, Sheriff Kwaku Duah, appealed to the public to help them find the perpetrators as the issue has been reported to the Bibiani Police Command.
