The bankroller of Medeama Sporting Club, Moses Armah Parker, says he is confident there will be goals in Friday’s CAF Champions League clash with Tanzania’s Young Africans SC.

He told Onua Sports’ Isaac Ansah Apagya from his base in Kumasi, hours to the game, that fans should come to the grounds early because it will be raining goals at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The match will be Medeama SC’s second home game in the continent’s flagship club competition after recording a 2-1 win exactly last week over Algeria’s CR Belouizdad.

The Ghana champions, however, lost 0-3 to Egyptian giants and defending champions Al Ahly in their first outing.

Mose Parker, as the club’s CEO is affectionately called, said they are seeking to grab all the three points in order to go top of Group D.

“We have talked to the boys and they are ready to die for Ghana,” he said.

The Ghanaians are currently joint-second with CR Belouizdad while Al Ahly lead the group on 4 points.

One-point Young Africans, popularly called Yanga, are seeking their first win of the campaign.

Moses Parker disclosed that expectations are high and he wants Kumasi fans and his trusted Tarkwa fans to throng the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to cheer the players on to a resounding victory.

The match kicks off at 4:00pm.
