MTN FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC have been drawn to play TP Elect-Sport FC of Chad in the preliminary round of the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup.

The draw was held on Thursday, July 11 in Cairo, Egypt.

By the schedule, the Ghanaians will host the Chadians in the first leg on the weekend of Friday, August 16-18.

The second leg will be away in N’djamena a week later.

The winner will face CS Constantine of Algeria or Police FC of Rwanda in the second preliminary round in September.

After winning the Ghana FA Cup, Nsoatreman FC have since lost their coach, Maxwell Konadu, who has signed a two-year deal with South African outfit Black Leopards.

They have, however, replaced him with former Black Stars striker Yaw Preko.

Preko has been charged by the board of the club to reach the group stage of the second-tier club competition on the continent.

He was charged last Tuesday at his unveiling in Nsoatre by the bankroller, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah.
