The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has donated essential items worth hundreds of Ghana Cedis to persons with disabilities in her constituency.
The donation included wheelchairs, bags of rice, and assorted confectioneries aimed at improving the livelihoods of the beneficiaries.
Presenting the items on behalf of the MP, Deputy Treasurer of the constituency, Dennis Ofori, reaffirmed Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
He emphasized that the gesture aligns with her vision of bridging the poverty gap and ensuring no one is left behind.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to the media expressed their gratitude to the MP for her support and pledged to make good use of the items.
