Athletic Club’s Iñaki Williams and Olympique Lyonnais’ Ernest Nana Nuamah will start from the bench in Black Stars’ clash against Madagascar Monday night.
Coach Otto Addo’s starting line-up sees Francis Abu and Jerome Opoku replacing the duo, who scored in the 5-0 routing of Chad last Friday.
Keeping his position is Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare, who also recorded a clean sheet in his maiden cap for the Black Stars in the Chad game.
Jordan Ayew will lead the team out of the tunnel at the Stade Mimoun Al Hoceima on Monday night.
Deputy Captain Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salisu will be at center back while Kingsley Schindler and Gideon Mensah will defend on the wings.
Thomas Partey and Opoku will defend in midfield while Mohammed Kudus and Abu will join the attack from the same area of the field.
Jordan and Antoine Semenyo will be the attackers in the sixth qualifier for the Black Stars in the quest to make the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
