Heart of Lions Head Coach Bashir Hayford has been named Coach of the Month for September in the Ghana Premier League.
The veteran coach masterminded three wins from three games to go top of the League temporarily in the month under review.
He beat competition from Hearts of Oak’s Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and Karela United’s Nurudeen Amadu to win the award.
This is the first in the season for awards to be presented.
Hearts of Oak’s goalie Benjamin Asare was also named as the Goalkeeper of the Month while Young Apostles FC’s Richmond Opoku was also named the Player of the Month.
