Black Queens Head Coach Kim Lars Bjørkegren has named a provisional 27-player squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be held in Morocco later in July.
The team is no far different from the squad named prior to the reschedule of the tournament.
In the provisional squad are notable names such as Captain Portia Boakye, midfielder Grace Asantewaa, Evelyn Badu, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and Princella Adubea, who were all part of the Bronze-winning 2024 squad.

Among these are goalkeeper Cynthia Fiindib Konlan of FC Samartex Ladies and Ampem Darkoa’s Ajegipina Zakaria.
