There has been additions to the Black Stars squad for the start of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Some players have withdrawn from the recently-announced squad due to medical uncertainties.
Among these were Tottenham Hotspur’s Mohammed Kudus, St. Etienne’s Augustine Boakye and Viktoria Plzen’s Prince Adu Kwabena.
Reports are also rife Manchester City’s Antoine Semenyo will not take part in the matches including the international friendly against Morocco.
Head Coach Carlos Queiroz has, therefore, made additions in order to get a full-circle squad for the three matches.
VfL Wolsburg’s Jonas Adjei Adjetey leads the defenders as Alidu Seidu, Ebenezer Abban and Rockson Yeboah get late call-ups.
Midfielder Rahim Ibrahim of Slovan Bratislavia has also been invited.
Coventry City’s Brandon Thomas-Asante, Mohammed Fuseini of Derby County, Benjamin Tetteh of Kalba and Felix Afena-Gyan of Igdir FK have also been handed late call-ups to the team.
The four-time champions are set to travel to Bouake on Wednesday, in time for the clash at the Stade de la Paix on Thursday, September 24.
