The Black Stars have been paired against Colombia in the Round of 32 following Saturday results in Groups K and L of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Ghana played earlier in the day against Croatia, failing to keep their unbeaten run and cleansheet.

Croatia run away with all three points.

The 2010 quarter-finalists were undone in the first half by Inter Milan’s Petar Sucic, whose 25-yard shot beat Benjamin Asare in post.

Though that goal was equalised by Derrick Luckassen, Nikola Vlasic capitalised on a defensive lapse to score the winner.

Later, Colombia and Portugal shared the spoils.

The South Americans were on top of Group K prior to the game and needed to avoid defeat in order to go through with that position.

Led by James Rodriguez, the Colombians held their own against Portugal to finish the game with one additional point.

The results took them to 7points and a match-up against Ghana.

That match will be played at the Kansas City Stadium on Saturday, July 4.
