Akatsi South Constituency Chairman hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anthony Solo Adotevi, popularly known as Paa Solo has described branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the indispensable lifeblood, heartbeat, operational nerve centre, guardians of the party’s values, and architects of its electoral victories.
In a solidarity message on Friday, June 19,2026 to aspirants ahead of the NDC branch elections scheduled to commence on June 20, 2026, Solo underscored the critical role branch executives play in sustaining the party’s grassroots structures and electoral fortunes.
According to him, branch executives remain the backbone, engine room, frontline mobilizers, grassroots commanders, loyal foot soldiers, and election warriors of the NDC, whose dedication and sacrifices continue to strengthen the party across the country.
He noted that branch executives are among the party’s most committed, resilient, hardworking, selfless, dependable, and battle-tested political assets, whose unwavering loyalty has been instrumental in the growth and success of the NDC over the years.
“The branch is the heartbeat of our party. Our branch executives are not merely party officers; they are the custodians of our tradition, the guardians of our values, the architects of our victories, and the driving force behind every electoral success we celebrate as a party,” he stated.
Mr Solo further indicated that having worked closely with branch executives, polling station agents, activists, and party faithful over the years, he fully appreciates the challenges they face and the sacrifices they continue to make in keeping the party vibrant and connected to the grassroots.
As he seeks the mandate of delegates to serve as Akatsi South Constituency Chairman, he pledged to champion initiatives aimed at empowering branch executives, creating opportunities for party members, strengthening party structures, and deepening grassroots participation.
He also called on all aspirants and party members to conduct themselves with dignity, discipline, tolerance, and comradeship throughout the electoral process, stressing that the unity and progress of the party must remain paramount.
Mr Solo expressed confidence that the upcoming branch elections would further strengthen the NDC’s grassroots machinery and position the party for even greater electoral success in the years ahead.
“When our branch executives are empowered, respected, motivated, and recognized, the party becomes stronger, more united, and more formidable. I am confident that we shall soon build an Akatsi South NDC that remains the envy of many and the preferred choice of the people,” he said.
