The Black Stars’ friendlies with Asian giants Japan and South Korea have been confirmed.
Chairman of the Management Committee Dr Randy Abbey had hinted to Onua Sports of an engagement with officials of the two Asian countries on the friendlies.
During an interview in Meknès, where the Black Stars clinched a 3-0 win in their penultimate 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic (CAR)
On Thursday, October 16, the GFA indicated that the friendly against the Blue Samurai will take place at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi-Osaka.
That game will be played on Friday, November 14 as part of the Kirin Challenge Cup.
The other against the Taegeuk Warriors will come four days later. It will be a reunion after the 2022 FIFA World Cup group-phase game, which ended 3-2 in favour of the Black Stars.
