The 2025 edition of Ghana’s biggest cultural reality show, Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), will be launched at the historic Black Star Square in Accra on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
The 19th season of GMB promises a richer display of tradition, intellect, and empowerment under the theme: “Embracing Cultural Diversity to Promote National Unity.”
The event is expected to draw culture lovers, government officials and traditional leaders, past queens, dignitaries and the general public, marking the official start of what has become a celebration of womanhood and cultural pride.
This year, contestants from all 16 regions- Upper East, Eastern, Ahafo, Greater Accra, Western North, Ashanti, Bono, Northern, Oti, Bono East, Volta, Western, Upper West, Savannah, Central, and North East, will indulge in various activities that showcase their talent, intellect, poise, and knowledge of their cultural heritage, as documented by the organisers.

GMB 2025 will once again prove that beauty is more than physical appearance. Contestants are selected not just for their looks but also for their intelligence, eloquence, and passion for their home regions.
Through rigorous weekly challenges and tasks, they are expected to showcase their talents, share their knowledge, and articulate the unique characteristics of their diverse backgrounds. The weekly show will air every Sunday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm on TV3, offering viewers two hours of cultural immersion, entertainment, and education.
The organisers say viewers should embrace themselves to be wowed by the various traditional dances, poetry recitals, fashion displays, and all the fun, twists and turns.
These cultural tasks not only entertain but teach and, in true Ghanaian fashion, “prepare to book a seat to not only feed your eyes, but pick a few nuggets to be tied at the tip of your cloth, the way your grandmothers kept their money safe.”
The auditions have ended setting the stage for the live shows to begin. The nation will once again rally behind its regional queens in a beautiful celebration of unity in diversity, and the power of the Ghanaian woman.
But the big question that remains unanswered is: who wins the car, cash and bragging rights as the Queen of the season? Time, they say, will tell.
