Hohoe United FC and Young Apostles have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for bringing the name of the game into disrepute.

The two Ghana Premier League sides were charged for breaching Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations 2025.

In their 1-1 draw at the Hohoe Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 20, the two clubs were said to have started the game with 10 players each despite having full squads available.

According to the GFA’s Disciplinary Committee, this conduct has “subjected the game to public ridicule and brought the competition into disrepute by starting the match with ten (10) players despite having full squads available”.

They have been given up till Tuesday, September 30 to respond.

They both have games to play on Sunday, September 28.

While Young Apostles return to their favourite ground in Wenchi, Hohoe United travel to Tema to face Vision FC.
