Manchester United have offered Paris Saint-Germain’s superstar Lionel Messi could inherit Cristiano Ronaldo’s number 7 shirt if he finally joins the Premier League giants.
The Argentine legend is being targeted by the Red Devils for a blockbuster summer move, according to El Nacional.
The report claims that should the 2022 World Cup winner make a move to Old Trafford, the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner could inherit Ronaldo’s legendary number seven jersey at Old Trafford.

Multiple reports have it that the former Barcelona ace could leave Parc des Princes this summer with his contract set to expire in June.
Messi has also been the target of whistles from the France capital club’s faithful over the last two home games.

Erik ten Hag’s side are on the hunt for a marquee attacking addition to their struggling forward line, currently being led by Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst.
