Administrative Manager of Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has launched a scathing attack on Aduana Stars General Manager Takyi Arhin in the wake of the 2-1 controversial defeat in Dormaa.
The young football administrator has attributed the fall in Ghana football to characters like Takyi Arhin, popularly called Thunder, who he claims is a “hooligan’ and always incite people to tarnish the image of the sports.
Speaking on Onua FM‘s Onua Sports Centre, Mr Dasoberi said, “Takyi Arhin is a liar, and he’s always the reason why bad things happen to Asante Kotoko in Dormaa.
“He incited the people of Dormaa against us even when the president of the club, George Gyawu, had instructed him to treat us well. Characters like this are the reason why our football is going down.”
Emmanuel Dasoberi expressed disappointment with the treatment meted out to him at Dormaa, where he stayed in a police station till the Aduana Stars and Kotoko game came to an end.
