The Appointments Committee of Parliament has commenced the vetting of the three ministers-designate named by President John Dramani Mahama.
Leading the Committee is the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament who is also the lawmaker for Akatsi South, Bernard Ahiafor, with leadership of the Majority and Minority all representing.
The Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan-Essiam, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, who has been designated as the Minister of Finance, took his turn earlier this morning and was discharged some about an hour ago.
Taking his turn now is John Abdulai Jinapor, the Minister-designate for Energy, before Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, Attorney-General and Justice minister-designate also takes his turn.
