Blessed Godsbrain Smart, host of Maakye on Onua TV/FM has bemoaned the neglect of festivals and other activites in the arts and entertainment industry by government.
He says the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, Chieftaincy could have taken advantage of the numerous festivals in the country to generate huge sums of money for development.
He was speaking at the 2022 Asafotufiam festival celebrated the people of Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
Onua TV/FM’s morning show, Maakye has moved its entire team to Ada to celebrate the ongoing festival with chiefs and residents of the Traditional area.
Watch him explain how millions of Ghana Cedis could have been derived from various festivals in the country if the aforementioned stakeholders were up to task.
