Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffo is confident his former club will defeat the Phobian’s on Sunday.

Akuffo in an interview with Onua Sports Friday, March 3, 2023, revealed that though the two teams are both not in good shape ahead of the big clash, the Porcupine Warriors have picked up their pieces and are the team to beat on Sunday.

“After a run of poor results they got back to winning ways against Bechem United in mid-week. It will help the Fabulous boys on Sunday though form guide does not always count when it comes to Hearts and Kotoko games,” he noted.

Michael Akuffo known in the football circles as Gadaffi added that the new players will all be ready to make a mark for the porcupines come Sunday.

Hearts are currently 6th on the league log whilst defending champions Asante Kotoko are 2nd on the table.
