The Ghanaian was instrumental in Oviedo’s promotion to Spain’s top-flight league, making 34 appearances and scoring one goal.
He has played in Los Azules’s three games so far as they lie 15th on the 20-team table.
Sibo is expected to join his national teammates for the game against Mali on Monday, September 8.
This is his debut call-up into the senior national men’s soccer team.
He will join Thomas Teye Partey and Inaki Williams as the players from the La Liga in the current Black Stars set-up.
