Defending champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Bibiani Goldstars SC have returned to the Top 4 after a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in their final outstanding game.
The Miners were in the Top 4 after Day 1 9f the new season but had to ensure sitting out of Matchweeks due to their maiden continental campaign in the CAF Champions League.
With about two outstanding games, the 2024/25 champions dropped out of the pecking order.
They have, however, managed to win all but one of their outstanding games. The only one they lost was to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
On Thursday, October 23, marksman Samuel Atta Kumi struck in the 42nd minute of the game at Dun’s Park to give his side all the three points.
The win took the champions to third on the log though on the same points, 12, with second-placed Aduana FC as well as third-placed Hearts of Oak, whom they play next on Matchday 7.
With the loss, the Blues drop find themselves still in the relegation zone.
Their next encounter will be away to rejuvenated Young Apostles.
