Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC’s Comfort Yeboah has been shortlisted for two major CAF Awards.

The defender, who featured prominently in the recently held CAF Women’s Champions League in Ivory Coast, was shortlisted for the Women’s Interclub Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.

Yeboah was nominated together with team mate Tracy Twum for the former award and with Mary Amponsah for the latter award.

The two, however, missed out on the shortlist.

For the CAF Interclub Player of the Year, the young Ghanaian player will contend with Botswana’s Refilwe Tholakele, Morocco’s Fatima Tagnaout and Ghizlane Chebbak as well as South Africa’s Lebohang Ramalepe for the gong.

She will contend against Morocco’s Nesryne El Chad, South Africa’s Thubelihle Shamase and Nigeria’s Deborah Abiodun and Esther Ajakaye for the CAF Young Player of the Year Award.
