Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have parted ways with Head Coach Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway and his assistant, Bright Anthony Konadu.

The two were relieved of their roles after the goalless draw against Nations FC on Friday.

That game was the first away point for Nations FC, who were handled for the first time by Stephen Frimpong Manso.

The point from that game left the Hunters wallowing in the relegation zone with just 4 points more than bottom-placed Basake Holy Stars.

“The club extends its sincere appreciation to both coaches for their dedication, professionalism and service during their time with Bechem United FC,” a club notice issued by Chief Executive Officer Kingsley Osei Bonsu said.

“Their efforts and contributions to the team’s development are deeply valued,” added the notice issued on Monday, November 3.

The notice hinted at plans to appoint a coach over a new technical direction “aimed at improving performance and achieving our sporting objectives for the season”.
