Called-up players of the Black Stars began camping in Morocco on Monday, March 18 ahead of the two friendly games in Marrakech.

The Stars consequently held a workout session on Tuesday morning in preparation for the games.

It is the first time the Black Stars are gathering after the disappointing performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in La Côte d’Ivoire, where the team exited the group stage without winning a match.

Thirteen players joined the workout with coach Otto Addo and his assistants, Joseph Laumann, John Paintsil and Fatawu Dauda leading the exercise.

Among the players in camp are Tariq Lamptey, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Jojo Wollacott, Alidu Seidu, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Denis Odoi, Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah.

The Black Stars will play Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday before taking on Uganda on Tuesday, March 26.
