A 71-year-old blind man has beheaded his wife at Nkawkaw Abepotia in the Kwahu West municipality of the Eastern region.
A resident, Oheneba Siaw, tells OnuaOnline the suspect, George Mudor, and his 65-year-old deceased wife have been married for 28 years.
According to him, Mr. Mudor was not blind from birth but only contracted the ailment about five years ago.

He reports further that the deceased wife has since been threatening him with divorce which did not go well with him.
The 71-year-old man says the wife is ungrateful to have enjoyed all the goodies of life with him only to to be threatening him with divorce after going blind.
Oheneba indicated the man decided to end his wife’s life before implementing her threats of divorcing him one day.
On the dawn of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, he beheaded his wife whilst she was asleep.
Georgina’s body has since been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital morgue for autopsy whilst the suspect, George Mudor, is assisting the Nkawkaw police with investigations.
