The Ghana Police Service has announced a manhunt for two persons who are said to have attacked coach of Nsoatreman FC Maxwell Konadu in a Ghana Premier League game.

The former national team coach was attacked after his side held Bofoakwa Tano FC at home in a goalless draw.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he has been receiving treatment.

On Monday, November 20, the police say a manhunt has been launched.

This comes barely hours after Bofoakwa Tano FC promised to work with the police to bring the perpetrators to book.

“By this, we are working tirelessly with the Ghana Police Service, Nsoatreman Footabll Club and all relevant stakeholders to bring the perpetrators of this unsporting behaviour to book,” management said.
